User instruction: 1. Move the lever down to loosen the jaw to hold the hook. Then press the lever up to tighten the jaw until the hook is properly clamped. 2. If the jaw opening is too small or large for the hook, please adjust the front opening screw to get the jaw proper open size fitting the hook. 3. Adjust the jam nut to the desired amount of resistance when you perform the rotation.

Turn the jam nut counterclockwise to move up fully (at least 4 full circles) and loosen the tube body, then you can rotate it freely.
